Dispatch SMART Verified Facility recognizes organizations that are committed to strengthening waterslide and attraction dispatch through active program use, independent evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Rather than rewarding a perfect audit score, this recognition highlights facilities that are willing to assess their operations, respond to what they learn, and keep improving over time.
Facilities are using the Dispatch SMART program as part of their actual operations — not simply completing a one-time training.
Verified facilities participate in at least one annual assessment or review to help identify strengths, opportunities, and next steps.
Recognition reflects a willingness to learn, respond, and strengthen the dispatch system over time — not just perform for a score.

Verification Is About the Process — Not a Perfect Score
Dispatch SMART Verified Facility recognition does not depend on achieving a predetermined assessment score, maintaining an injury-free record, or avoiding operational findings. (Although...injury reduction, reduced claims, and safer and more efficient operations is part of our goals!)
Instead, verification recognizes facilities that:
Finding opportunities for improvement does not prevent verification. Ignoring them might.

Recognizing Learning Instead of Rewarding a Number
Traditional safety awards and score-based recognition programs can unintentionally encourage organizations to focus on the metric rather than the work behind it. The traditional approach can create short cuts, catering to audits, and lead to a lack of learning and improvement.
Dispatch SMART Verified Facility takes a different approach.
The goal is to recognize organizations that demonstrate:
Transparency. Engagement. Learning. Response. Improvement.
Strong operations are not defined by never finding problems. They are defined by the ability to identify, understand, and respond to them.

✓ The facility actively uses Dispatch SMART
✓ The facility participates in independent evaluation
✓ Leadership reviews findings and opportunities
✓ The facility demonstrates response and improvement
✓ The facility remains engaged in continuous learning
✕ The facility achieved a perfect assessment score
✕ The facility has no identified operational concerns
✕ The facility has never experienced an incident or injury
✕ ALIVE Solutions guarantees the safety of the facility
✕ Verification replaces regulatory, manufacturer, or other operational requirements

How the Verification Process Works:
IMPLEMENT
Put Dispatch SMART into practice.
ASSESS
Participate in annual independent evaluation.
LEARN
Understand what the findings reveal.
RESPOND
Take meaningful action on opportunities.
IMPROVE
Strengthen the dispatch system.
REPEAT
Continue the cycle each year.

Finding an Opportunity for Improvement Does Not Mean Failing Verification
The purpose of assessment is to create visibility into how the operation is actually functioning.
Identifying a weakness, inconsistency, or improvement opportunity does not automatically prevent a facility from becoming verified.
Instead, verification considers what happens after the finding is identified.
Does the organization review it?
Does leadership understand it?
Does the facility respond appropriately?
Does something change, get tested, monitored, or improved?
That is the behavior Dispatch SMART Verified Facility is intended to recognize.

Dispatch SMART Verified Facility status may be withheld, suspended, or not renewed when a facility:
Importantly, an incident, injury, or low assessment score alone would not automatically eliminate verification.
Our goal is to reinforce the learning culture while protecting the credibility of the designation.

No. Verification is not based on maintaining an injury-free record. Although one of our goals is to reduce injuries, reduce claims, and create safer more efficient operations.
Verification is issued for a specific verification year and must be renewed annually.
No. Verification confirms participation in and implementation of the Dispatch SMART verification process. It is not a guarantee of safety, compliance, or the absence of operational risk.
No. Facilities must complete the annual verification requirements.
Any of our core assessment options work: ARROW, DART, or MARK would qualify.
