AQUATIC SAFETY + OPERATIONAL EXPERTS

Natalie has spent the last 25 years in the aquatics industry.  She is an experienced operator working for several public and private operations including Six Flags, Knott's Soak City, and The Wave Waterpark.  She spent 10 years as a General Manager  and has been an Instructor Trainer for several lifeguard risk agencies.  Natalie spent 3.5 years doing accident and drowning investigations and litigation support services in her role as Vice President for Oostman Aquatic Safety Consulting.  She is AFO and CPO certified and is a Certified Pool and Spa Inspector. Natalie has been a lifeguard for 27 years and an Instructor for 25 years.  Natalie has won many industry awards including Best Public Sector Waterpark and Best Lifeguard Management from Aquatics International, Decade of Aquatic Excellence from Ellis & Associates, Manager of the Year Award from the  City of Vista, and was recognized by Aquatics International as a Power Honoree in 2020.  She is currently a World Waterpark Association Board Member and is passionate about improving aquatics and training and development.

Natalie is passionate about keeping people ALIVE and well and is continually learning and engaging in the aquatics community through direct client contact and trainings. She believes Everyone Is Important!
