The base level of Dispatcher Training is a thoughtfully created online course that covers important dispatcher knowledge along with a review of the Dispatch Smart Formula. The videos are filled with videos and an exit comprehension quiz. Returner Dispatchers can take the refresher training which is a condensed review of the basic level information.
Captains are certified as dispatch trainers and leaders in the field. this training focuses on operational leadership strategies and effective management of attractions. This dynamic training includes case study videos with an exit quiz and a certificate of completion for your records!
This is the IT level. This training includes operational best practices, risk reduction strategies, downloadable templates and resources for the dispatch smart training program. This training allows the Master Captain to certify Captains and has an exit quiz with a certificate of completion for your records!

ARROW is an extensive review of the operation highlighting 12 key areas with 360 data points of evaluation. Dispatch performance is a key component of the ARROW Assessment along with a holistic look at the operation.
DART is a more selective and focusted review of dispatch and attractions operation and leadership. DART is focused on 6 key areas with 20+ data points and focused dispatch information and feedback.

The Dispatch Smart program is a flat rate cost based on the number of attractions / dispatchers. The flat fee includes everything, so it is easy for budgeting and forecasting. Contact us today to request specific pricing based on your facility use.
We recommend 1-3 months depending on the number of staff to be able to train your team and give them time to complete the trainings. We have implemented in just a few weeks, but a longer lead time makes it a little easier.

No, our program is different and completely specific to water attractions / water slides. We believe roller coasters / hard rides are dispatched, trained, and operated much differently than a water slide is. Roller coasters typically have a large dispatch operation with a high volume of people being dispatched at the same time. Roller coasters have a lot less rider freedom and less room for rider error. Roller coasters tend to have a lot less attraction variables to consider. Rides training typically involves training focused on one attraction for an extended period of time (4-6+ hours). Waterpark operations and training is much different and our program and process is a reflection of these differences. Both types of dispatch are important to be done safely, but we have found they are very different. We have worked with several waterparks who have tried to implement a rides based program into their waterparks, and were not happy and did not see the results they wanted. Fortunately, Dispatch Smart was able to provide them with an effective dispatch program that has proven to work great for their water parks!
No, our program is completely online with a series of dynamic training videos and resources. This saves our clients money and time. We always set up remote video calls to connect and check in with our clients during the process so we are involved and connected throughout the journey. We do offer optional on site implementation or in person trainings if this is something your operation needs, just ask for a quote here!
No, we have some Dispatch Smart clients who just do the training program without an assessment, and we have others who do assessments. We are happy to help in whatever way makes the most sense for you and your operation. We do believe the assessments are able to bring a level of accountability, growth minded approach, awareness, and validation; but they are not a requirement for use of the Dispatch Smart program.
