AQXLeader 101-501
AQXLeader Courses are designed as a progressive development program. All levels have 30 modules with interactive learning assignments / videos / case studies and more. Each course is approximately 6-8 hours worth of tactical content. The goal of each level is to focus on aquatics industry content and information along with the soft skills of leadership development. The progressive nature is important to encourage continual growth and to create a dynamic bench of engaged leaders on your team or to develop your individual leadership style and experience. AQXLeader 101 is designed for the lifeguard and future leader. This course covers great topics to help engage and motivate current lifeguards to develop your internal bench. AQXLeader 201
AQXLeader 201 is designed for the Head Guard / Lead type level, but it is also our most common starting point for leaders of all levels. 201 covers all MAHC Supervisory topics and is a great foundational course to refresh the basics and build through the next modules. AQXLeader 301 is designed for the experienced Lead to Supervisory levels. The content builds off of what was learned in 201 and continues to provide learning opportunities at a level above the front line leadership team. 301 is focused on the critical layer of leadership that is so challenging between lower leaders and upper leaders. Where Do I Start?
Good Question! There really is no wrong answer, however we recommend all leaders - even higher levels - start at the 201 level. This is a great starting point, and it covers all of the MAHC Supervisory training topics. After starting at 201, continue to progress through the higher modules as they meet your needs.

Using AQXLeader for INSERVICE?
Yes! AQXLeader 101 is a great level for lifeguards (and your potential future leaders). It is designed to expand their knowledge and deepen their experience and understanding, while teaching them how to be a leader without a title and stay effective in the guard stand. Many facilities use this program to provide part or supplemental inservice training. Example: Do 2 hours of inservice in person and supplement with online training, or add this course on top of your current hours to expand your program. Participants will receive a completion certificate at the end of the course, and if you want access to the program to track their individual progress we can add a staff member to the course as well. Example: Assign modules 1-15 for the month of June and you could have a staff member in the course to track completion and give credit for 2 hours or more of inservice. There are many ways to do this to meet the needs of your operation, so let us know if you have questions or need ideas!
AQXLeader is also great for leadership inservice. We all know how leadership for our leaders tends to get combined with front line staff, but this content covers great material for expanding their knowledge and effectiveness as leaders and better preparing them personally.
Can I register for Multiple People?
Yes! Just have their name and email address handy. You can create individual accounts and purchase courses for others.
Group Discounts?
Yes! Email us if you are interested in receiving a specific quote. We offer discounts for groups of 10+. We will invoice you directly and add the students on our end for group discount participants.
Can I Take This Individually?
Absolutely! We are always looking for ways to grow personally and professionally, and even if this is not something your organization will pay for, we hope to keep the price low enough to make it affordable for all. Just like buying a book, we should all take our personal growth into our own hands.
